Course Description

This seminar teaches participants about the value of SPC, the basic foundations of SPC, and what is involved in SPC implementation. Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of SPC, will gain familiarity with the technical terms, and will learn how SPC influences the quality of their product. This allows managers to better participate and communicate with technical staff about SPC.

  • Introduce the fundamentals of SPC
  • Learn about data collection, data analysis, and the effects of variability
  • Understand the concepts of normal distribution including averages and standard deviations
  • Learn how to use and interpret control charts
