BSI's "BS 25999 Internal Auditor" course assists participants in developing the skills and knowledge to conduct audits and self-assessments against the requirements of BS 25999-2:2007, Business Continuity Management � Part 2: Specification. Through small group activities, audit role-plays, and lively discussions, students gain a thorough understanding of the principles of auditing and how to apply the guidance of ISO 19011:2002, "Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing" to implement effective audit programs for a business continuity management system. This course also reviews the Business Continuity Management � Code of Practice, BS 25999-1:2006 and best practice surrounding maintenance and review of business continuity management systems.
