If someone were to tell you that you can make your business more efficient, improve the quality of your products and services, win new customers and boost that all-important bottom line, you would want to know more. Using a management system can do all these things for small firms.
A management system is a proven framework for managing and continually improving your organization's policies, procedures and processes. At the most basic level, management systems are based on written standards. The standard provides a framework of best practices for you to apply to your business. They encourage you to focus on the products or services you deliver, the business processes you follow and the way you manage your business as a whole. You are provided with a practical framework to examine, review and continuously improve any area of your business. You can follow this best practice informally or choose to get outside confirmation from a recognized certification body.
But however you approach a management system, they can, and do, provide solid benefits for firms like yours.
We know that small businesses face different challenges than large companies, such as tighter budgets and time constraints. Whether you are just beginning to learn about standards and management systems, or you are ready to start the implementation process we can help.
We created a new program designed to meet your needs. BSI is offering a special program for Small Businesses which can allow for certification in as little as 90 days*.
For first-time customers only.
Not applicable for medical standards.

Next Steps
Are you new to standards and management systems? BSI provides training courses ranging from beginning courses on understanding management systems to advanced courses on auditing management systems. We have courses in a variety of formats to fit your needs and budget.
Onsite Training
An On-Site Training course is one held at your own facility and is typically open only to your employees. Training students on site eliminates their travel expenses and additional time away from the office. On-site training can be custom-tailored to your requirement and allows for co-workers to build stronger relationships.
BSI can customize any public training offering for your organization.
Public Training
A Public Training course takes place in an open setting and is available to employees from any organization. This type of training is a convenient low cost way to send a small number of employees to learn. Attendees are away from office distractions and often benefit from the exposure to people from other organizations. Lodging and travel costs are not included in the course fee. The individuals attending the course must make their own travel arrangements. When possible, rooms are offered at special “BSI Training” rates, up to one month prior to a course date. After that date, the hotel may charge a higher rate consistent with their prevailing rate schedule.
eLearning
eLearning is an innovative distance learning tool, where course content is delivered online via the web and can:
- Maximize your budget. With no travel or accommodation expenses, more people can be trained for less.
- Minimize time away from the office. Participants can take the training when it is convenient for them and at a pace that they are comfortable with.
- Emphasize your environmental awareness. There is less paper involved and with no additional travel, it is the "greener" training option.
Webinars
A webinar is an interactive multimedia presentation that allows participants to hear the instructor through a telephone conference call while following the presentation element via a webpage.
