Newly released ISO 9001:2008
The new edition to ISO 9001 was released on Friday, November 14, 2008 and, according to information from the reviewing body, contains no new requirements compared to the 2000 edition, which it replaces. After eight years of implementing experience of 9001:2000, this revision provides clarifications to the existing requirements and introduces changes intended to improve consistency with ISO 14001:2004.

- ISO 9000:2005
- ISO 9001:2008
- ISO 9004:2000
An update for ISO 9004:2000 is planned for release at the end of 2009 and although an update is planned for ISO 9000: 2005 for 2010; it may not occur until 2013.
